<p>Coatsink's got something a little different for us as it steps back into its Gear VR shoes. We loved ESPER, and I'm pretty sure we're going to love Augmented Empire as well.</p><p>Augmented Empire is a story-driven tactical RPG set on the island of New Savannah, an isolated neo-noir city divided into three tiers by the 'Citizen Grade System'. Where citizens of a high social value lives in riches at the top of the world, the outliers and criminals are stuck in rank conditions at its rear-end.</p><p>This is where you come in. Straight from the cosy chair of your secret hideout, it's up to you to instruct your team of six misfits through action-packed missions in a dystopian world. That's not all though, you'll also be able to embody a female protagonist, Ashley, as the game's augmented diorama really comes into play.</p><p>With nine hours of gameplay up for grabs, Augmented Empire is looking like a fine offering to plaster over the Gear VR slump. There's no definite release date as of yet, but we'll definitely be keeping an eye out.</p>...

<p>Fantasy Earth Genesis is the latest collaborative MMORPG effort between Square Enix, Asobimo and Quantum Games. It's a sequel to Fantasy Earth Genesis and promises to maintain the core of that series including a 50v50 battle system.</p><p>The aim of the game will focus on the expansion of your kingdom and then defending it from attackers. You'll do this by capturing Crystals Towers and defending them for long enough to claim victory. During the battle, once certain criteria have been met you'll be able to summon more powerful units to aid in the fight.</p><p>You'll be able to choose from one of three kingdoms to represent in the game. Beyond that, you'll be able to choose from a selection of classes, weapons and tactics for battle. You'll also be able to build defensive and offensive builds as part of your strategy, so there's a lot to take into account it would appear.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>As with most pre-registration campaigns, there will be a few rewards available when the game officially launches depending on the number of people that sign up. This will range from enough orbs for one Gacha pull at the lowest level to enough for 10 pulls at 100,000 sign-ups.</p><p>The original game launched in 2006 for the PC so this is a case of Square Enix resurrecting one of its old franchises and seeing how well it would do on mobile. The Japanese version of Fantasy Earth Genesis was released just over a year ago where it's had a seemingly mixed reception, holding a 3.4/5 rating on QooApp.</p><p>Fantasy Earth Genesis is available for pre-registration now on the game's official website.
